Das Areal hieß eigentlich Roc Blanc, benannt nach einer weissen Quartzader, die aus dem schwarzen Schiefer herausragt. Man entschied sich aber für die Umbennung in Roc des Anges, zu Deutsch: Engelsfelsen. Mittlerweile gehört die Kellerei zu den ersten Adressen der Region. Die Weine zeichnen sich vor allem durch ihre Eleganz aus.
