IL GIGANTE is Francesco's vision of Soave wine.
An authentic wine made from 100% Gagenega, made with natural yeasts, hand picked and made as a natural wine. An fresh take on the Soave area wines near Verona, which usually is characterized by cheap cooperative wine.
The Gargenaga grapes from Francesco grow on volcanic basaltic soil at an altitude of 350 m, the vines are up to 60 years old. As a result, Francesco manages completely without irrigation (unfortunately, a great deal is otherwise artificially irrigated in the region). From the vineyard you have a great view of the Alps. The interaction of the cool winds with the volcanic soil together create this mineral wine.
The Il Gigante creates a balance of subtle fruitiness (ripe stone fruit and flowers) paired with minerality, saltiness, structure and a light yeasty note on the finish.
Il Gigante the name says it all, a gigantic entry into the world of wine from Cantina Martinelli. This wine is also available with 24-36 months (in steel) -> PANTAGRUELE
THE GIANT G is the memory of the giant Gargantua, a great lover of wine and drinks surrounded by nature.

Made from fruit from vines 30 to 50 years old and fermented with native yeasts, this wine offers aromas reminiscent of Spanish gorse, roasted nuts, sun dried earth and baked bread. On the palate it is bone dry and tasty, with flavors of apricots, hazelnuts, fennel and lemon zest, and a mineral vein of salt.
