Seckinger - Vom Kalksein Pure 2019

Seckinger: Hardly any other company stands for the Nouvelle Vague des Palatinate wine. The Seckinger - vom Kalkstein Pure is the entry into the sulfur-free “Pure” natural wine world from the Seckinger brothers.

Weingut Seckinger - Kalkstein Pure dry 2019 has a very nice floral and fruity nose without strong natural notes. In the mouth it is spicy, aromatic and playful paired with a subtle acidity and a lot of juiciness. He is definitely one Natural wine with outrageous drinking flow.

Extremely versatile as a meal companion - from white meat to fish or baked vegetables, everything is possible here.

Jonas Seckinger and his two brothers with their Pure line give the wines plenty of room to develop and hold back and technical wine interventions. The Kerner and Chardonnay vines for the Seckinger from Kalkstein Pure dry 2019 come from Maikammer and grow there on limestone soils. After hand-picking, the grapes are pressed and fermented spontaneously. With a ratio of 60/40, the fresh, grassy Kerner and the citrus-fruity Chardonnay are placed in French barriques for eleven months. It is then bottled without filtration, fining and additional sulfur.
