Oh Lord, how can we not fall into superlatives here? Oh, what the hell: Les Vignes Métissés from Le Roc des Anges is one of our all-time favorite roses, now it's offical! The color actually hints at everything: Subtle, ultra elegant, very light (more white wine than rosé) and delicately radiant. In the nose it goes on like this: elegance, restraint, class. Light, fresh red fruit, panna cotta with raspberries, a hint of blood orange, minimal wood. And then again and again striking when drinking: How can a rosé be so ultra silky, at the same time juicy, never opulent, always classy and extremely easy to drink. Mindblowing stuff by Marjorie & Stephane!
It is a cuvée made from Grenache Blanche, Grise and Noire, Carignan Blanc, Gris and Noir, Cinsault, Maccabeu, Muscat and Malvoisie, all grown biodynamically.
Unfortunately a lot RAR therefore somewhat limited.
