The Pét-Nat virtuoso Christoph Hoch produced the Kalkreich, his first sparkling wine using the traditional method with - and what a sparkling wine it is: a chalky-yeasty scent with racy citrus fruit, plus spicy and tobacco notes, reminiscent of high-class Jura crémants; on the palate its fruit-free, firm, bone-dry and mega salty.
