Domaine Pignier - GPS: A radiant, clear, yeasty scent that is reminiscent of white tea and vineyard peach, lemongrass and menthol tobacco and makes you curious about more. When tasting, it is razor-sharp, clear and ultra fresh. Salty-chalky finish, just as you love it in the Jura.

Gamay Blanc (the old name for Chardonnay), white pressed Poulsard and Savagnin are combined in a top-class cuvée.

With this cuvée, Marie-Florence and Jeanne-Etienne Pignier rely on haptics instead of fruity primary aromas and bring out the best of the individual grape varieties. GPS is completely unsulfurized and pleasantly restrained in its aroma. On the other hand, it gives an even greater mouthfeel with fine yeasty components.

The Domaine Pignier is located in one of our favorite areas: the Jura in France. Some of the most exciting winemakers have settled there over the past few years. Domaine Pignier was originally founded by Carthusian monks in the 13th century. At the end of the 18th century, the Pignier family took over the winery and its impressive Gothic cellars.
