The old vines from Villeneuve are top stuff for all classical wine lovers. The 2016er Vieilles Vignes develops with a little air quickly into one of the most impressive vintages of the domain: Noble, spicy scent of Linzertorte, cinnamon, nougat chocolate, liqueur cherry and crème de cassis, subtle long pepper. Strong, concentrated and with a substantial, fruity impression on the palate, ripe and yet fresh, reminiscent of caramel malt candy. This Châteauneuf-du-Pape “Les Vieilles Vignes” is the ideal companion for relaxing hours by the fireplace or decadent celebratory meals. A la votre!
