Francesco Martinelli's vision of a Valpolicella red wine. In a region known for heavy, fruity and sweet red wines with a high alcohol content. (Valpolicella DOC with their Ripasso and co.) Cantina Martinelli swims against the current again and makes a super easy-drinking red wine with juicy fruit and more acidity, which is best enjoyed chilled.
A classic Valpolicella grape mix (50% Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella; 50% Merlot, Cabernet Franc) is refined with a small part of Garganeg from Francesco's Cru vineyard. The red wine is semicabonic vinified in the Beaujolais style. Because of this and the proportion of white grapes, a very light and very drinkable red wine. Juicy red fruits, very little tannin and with fresh and nice acidity you always want another glass.
TROJAN HORSE is the key to the doors that cannot be opened.
