Looks like game, doesn't taste like Wyld.
The interesting and very original production process begins with the must being in contact with the grape skins for 24 hours in order to achieve a great extraction of the aromas. When the must only contains 15 grams of residual sugar, the wine is bottled, where it finally ends the fermentation process. The carbonic acid produced naturally during the alcoholic fermentation is retained in the Pet Nat.
The Rizzy Starmust spent a total of 18 months on its yeast storage and is neither clarified, filtered nor sulphurized. Due to the long time on the yeast, this Pet Nat looks a bit like a mature champagne. In addition, the slightly spicy notes clearly reveal the origin of the Riesling grapes from slate-shaped soils. The Rizzy Starmust is by no means a challenge for palates who have no experience with natural wines. It offers pure and enjoyable sparkling wine pleasure.
fruity & fresh
Shiny gold tone with slowly rising perlage and a slight cloudiness. The scent has a spicy, mineral-like effect and is also reminiscent of fresh yeast pastries. In the background, however, there are also fruity notes that are reminiscent of apricots, lime and jasmine. Reminiscent of aged champagne due to a slight oxidation tone. Very fresh in the mouth, with a light herbal spice and again wonderfully ripened. In the finish balanced and very harmonious.
