Christoph Hoch has developed a new organic wine line with his father called Peter & Paul, from which this PetNat also comes.
Super tasty and really fun! Summer aperitif.
Radiant lemon yellow with green-orange reflections. Subtle citrus aromas and young apricots on the nose. The clear, straight, firm fruit is combined with an elegant flowery background. Fresh yellow apple, caressed by white elderflower. Very fine, animating perlage. The finish is complemented by a hint of mint. As a fruity aperitif or as a versatile food companion with pleasant drinking pleasure.
Stainless steel and wood
The two saints Petrus & Paulus (Peter & Paul) are the patron saints of the Winzerhof Hoch - the antique wooden figures, older than 300 years, can still be found on the winery. The Pet Nat method, which has its roots in France, is experiencing a renaissance in Austria. Rightly so! The fascinating freshness and pleasure in drinking these wines speak for themselves. The must, initially fermented in the classic way, is poured into the bottle without adding sulfur. The yeast continues to work naturally and thus brings carbonic acid into the bottle by converting sugar into alcohol. The sparkling wine is born. A cooperation of two generations, between traditional wines and newly discovered methods, leads to the combination in one wine.
