The strong Riserva from Buondonno gets even better with bottle aging, but often smells very nice even when young. It smells autumnal, of forest floor, brown mushrooms, red cabbage, allspice and black cherry. The use of wood is top and classy (no barriques, just large wooden barrels), the Riserva looks young and compact, needs air and time. Drink and be happy or put away and look forward to it!
