The "Kalkspitz" was our first contact with in 2017 Christoph Hoch, and even then it became clear how well the Lower Austrian winemaker can handle tingly wine. In short - chalky, light-yeasty, firm and fresh. Top bubbler without chichi and with quick drinking flow.
With his "Rose Rurale" he shows a PetNat par excellence, a light rose-sparkling refreshment with a fine floral aroma.
The third wine is the fantastic natural wine Rose from Christoph
The sparkling wine artist Christoph Hoch can also do stills: He shows that with his Rose with just 10% alcohol. As light in the fragrance as in the color, notes of lingonberries, cranberries, red cabbage, slightly peppery and herbaceous. Juicy, sour and slim on the palate, it hisses best out of the fridge!
Nothing more needed to be say. Except try!
